Places & Spaces: Mapping Science--Austellung der Wissenschaftskarten


Diese Austellung zeigt 100 Karten, welche die Struktur und Entwicklung der Wissenschaft und Technologie aufzeigen. Interactive Karten lassen Besucher die Komplexität, die Werte, und die Schöheit der Wissenschaft und Technologie erkunden. Die Karten werden verwendet, um daten-basierte Entscheidungen in der Wissenschaft, der Industrie, und der Politik zu treffen.


Im Internet gibt es für alle 100 Karten die Bilder und deutsche Übersetzungen unter http://scimaps.org.


Die Ausstellung ist noch bis zum 30. Juli 2018 im Rahmen der ESU in Digitalen Geisteswissenschaften im 2. Stock des Hörsaalgebäudes der Universität Leipzig zu sehen.

Beginning July 13, 2018, University of Leipzig will feature the Places & Spaces: Mapping Science exhibition as an integral part of The European Summer University in Digital Humanities.


The Places & Spaces exhibition showcases 100 visualization of complex data in innovative and beautiful formats, using groundbreaking methods for making sense of large streams of data. Each year new visualizations are added, culled from international and interdisciplinary submissions.
